Since 2019, Ann Demeulemeester has been collaborating with Serax to produce collections of porcelain, cutlery and glassware. In essence, Demeulemeester’s work continues to explore and celebrate contrasts – a beauty that is found in the interplay between strength and fragility, structure and nonchalance, poetic and radical, preciousness and functionality.

In Dé, the play of chiaroscuro – light and shadow – which is so characteristic of Ann Demeulemeester s style, is translated into tableware. The result is a collection of shadow paintings on porcelain.
